DESCRIPTION
Pink Eclipse is a serigraphy on paper created in 2024 by Orticanoodles, a work that disassembles the image of the flower into vertical sections, creating a sort of visual "eclipse", where the delicate shades of pink, magenta, and black follow one another with geometric precision and dynamism.
The tones of the roses, ranging from deep red to pale pink, are paired with dark, almost black leaves, creating a sharp contrast between the warmth of the petals and the coldness of the shadows. The vertical sections interrupt the continuity of the image, giving the impression of a partial and fragmented view, as if the observer were looking at the work through cracks that reveal only a part of the flower's complete beauty.
Pink Eclipse thus becomes a visual meditation on the delicacy and transience of beauty, rendered with the strength and immediacy of the serigraphic mark, a distinctive feature of the artistic duo.

Artist
Orticanoodles is an artistic collective born in the early 2000s in Milan, created by Wally and Alita, and has quickly become a reference point for Italian street art. The collective has evolved from a duo to a factory, welcoming numerous collaborators and redefining the role of urban art through an open and constantly changing approach.
Known for their pioneering ability in the use of stencils, Orticanoodles have managed to combine innovative techniques and a pop aesthetic to bring art to the streets, creating iconic murals that address relevant themes such as social inclusion, the fragmentation of modern society, and the enhancement of urban life.
