DESCRIPTION

Pink Eclipse is a silkscreen print on paper created in 2024 by Orticanoodles, an artwork that breaks down the image of a flower into vertical sections, creating a kind of visual "eclipse," where delicate shades of pink, magenta, and black follow one another with geometric precision and dynamism.

The hues of the roses, ranging from intense red to pale pink, are juxtaposed with dark, almost black leaves, creating a sharp contrast between the warmth of the petals and the coolness of the shadows. The vertical sections interrupt the continuity of the image, giving the impression of a partial and fragmented view, as if the viewer were observing the artwork through slits that reveal only a part of the flower's complete beauty.

Pink Eclipse thus becomes a visual meditation on the delicacy and transience of beauty, rendered, however, with the strength and immediacy of the silkscreen mark, a distinctive characteristic of the artistic duo.

Artist

Orticanoodles is an art collective founded in the early 2000s in Milan by Wally and Alita, which quickly became a reference point for Italian street art.
