DESCRIPTION

The artwork depicts the iconic Fiat 500, famous in the Fifties, with a woman driving the red car while a man sits next to her. The lines of the car as well as those of the main subjects are defined by the artist's typical lines.

A characteristic element of Marco Lodola's works is that the subjects, in this case the car, are always depicted in motion. Hence Marco Lodola's intention to capture the movement of his protagonists within his works.

Artist

Marco Lodola began to take his first steps in the artistic scene in the Sixties when he proposed works featuring characters from the music world. Particularly inspiring in these early days were Pop artists such as Tom Wesselman and David Hockney.

During his long artistic career, Marco Lodola has collaborated with both important musicians, such as Max Pezzali and Jovanotti, and with the world of cinema and television, creating sets.
