MEANING OF THE WORK
Unique work of the Street Artist Mr. Brainwash , I Love You! It was created in 2021 on paper with a mixed technique.
In the center, the large writing dominates “I Love You” made with a black spray can, while the background is characterised by numerous glued and partly overlapping stickers with the words “Fragile” written on them.
In the midst of a unique style that recalls the Pop Art Mr. Brainwash combines objects of mass culture (such as stickers) with the use of spray cans, an icon of Street Art
INTRODUCTION TO THE ARTIST
Mr Brainwash, real name Thierry Guetta, was born in France and moved with his family to Los Angeles at the age of 15. He is one of the most famous street artists in the world.
Mr. Brainwash enters the world of street art through his great interest in the camera, in fact since childhood he had developed a great passion for videos.
Thanks to this attitude, he begins to film his cousin Invader, and thanks to the latter he finds himself filming all the most famous street art in the world, including Banksy! Mr. Brainwash's works are characterized by the use of bright and vivid colors, in full Pop Art style, and by the constant popular.
