Influencer kiss (green)

The work immortalizes the two well-known Italian influencers Chiara Ferragni and Fedez while they exchange a passionate kiss without taking their hands off their smartphones: a real necessity for Ferragni who constantly gives away moments of her private life to her followers.

With this work Tvboy tells how, in that historical period, cell phones had by now transformed into extensions of one's self, and how these had become real work tools from which it was not possible to separate, even in moments that would suggest a total concentration on reality.

The reference to a very famous work is evident: the artist refers to the photo of the kiss between a nurse and a sailor in New York, taken in 1945 by Alfred Eisenstaed. A shot that became a symbol of the joy and love that were released at the end of the Second World War.

Times change, means and meanings too, but love always remains, in some way, the engine that moves everything, including the economy.

The work, welcomed with irony and sympathy by the two protagonists at the time, was then also used by Fedez himself as the image for his single, “Favorisca i emozioni”, dedicated to his then girlfriend Chiara, before asking her hand in marriage.
