This spirit - also known as the King of Cognacs - was created in 1874 to celebrate the company's 150th anniversary and, since then, has been produced exclusively using grapes from the Grande Champagne region. While its name is a tribute to the eponymous French king, its bright color, intense aroma, and distinctive spicy flavor are the result of a blend of 1,200 different eaux-de-vie, aged for 40 to 100 years in oak barrels.

The icing on the cake is the precious bottle that contains this nectar: made of crystal and numbered, because each one is unique, with the characteristic lily-shaped cap, a further symbol of the prestige of this extraordinary Champion.
